Stormwater Drains & Inlets
Storm water drains and inlets collect and divert rainwater from parking lots and roadways into appropriate sewer pipes. They are commonly placed along curbs and in other areas throughout parking lots. Since most are made of precast concrete, they are susceptible to damage from vehicle tires, snowplows, winter deicing salts, and shifting or settling surrounding pavement.
Storm water drains come in many shapes and sizes, depending on the application. Some are easily replaced precast concrete, and others require concrete or asphalt work for proper replacement. Designs which include steel or cast-iron grates or openings can often be replaced independently from the concrete structure itself.
From basic grate replacement to entire stormwater drain rebuilding, St. Louis Paving has the expertise to assist with all your drainage needs.
